Wearable Art Jewellery

Living in Devon I have the benefit of being surrounded by a diverse landscape that can’t help but inspire, from the wooded valley that leads to the banks of the river Torridge where I live in Torrington to the ever changing moorlands of Dartmoor in the distance and expansive skies and seascapes on the Devon coast.
Light on the water, the mood of the sky, the colours in nature through the seasons, a texture on a stone, a rock pool, these are all part of a Devon Life.

I try to bring a little part of all these things into my pieces for others to enjoy or maybe serve as a reminder, a memory of special times once had.

All my jewellery is designed handmade by me with the help of my husband Trevor Jennings. We work as a team with me hand painting, gilding and embossing the papers and he helping in the construction of the ear studs and brooches. It is a successful and supportive partnership that keeps the work moving forward.

I established this side of my business in 1983 when I was pregnant and needed to find an alternative to my very physically demanding wall pieces. I was extremely lucky to have my first collection accepted by the Craft Council Shop at the V&A Museum and have been selling successfully ever since in galleries throughout the UK.

All my pieces are ‘One Of A Kind’. The nature of the materials and processes that I have developed make each piece individual and each pair of ear studs slightly mismatching. It is in the nature of the work to have a distressed appearance which I build in by sanding surfaces.

I offer free postage worldwide and you will receive your purchase in a beautiful recycled jewellery box, all my packaging is eco friendly and biodegradable.
